I left my home at 0725 this morning I usually get the 0729 bus into Epping station and get the central line into London. Today though I got on my bus as usual then arrive at Epping to find there’s no service between Epping and Woodford. So I waited around for the next bus and went home. When I checked online central line is open again so back I go... no trains so I waited another hour and a half until 0930 when finally a train pulled in I get on thinking “finally”. Only to find out it’s not going all the way to the station I needed but 2 stops before. By this point I’m sure someone had cut my toes off and replaced them with ice cubes. I wait for the next train and get off at Stratford then there’s delays on the DLR so another 15 minute wait! Finally I arrive at work a full 2 hours late. Worked for 5 hours then come home. I’ve spent more time waiting for buses/trains than actually worked today

"No reason I wouldn't of gone into work.
There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes!!"
Tell that to my toes I have 2 pairs of socks one (one pair are thermal) and I still can’t feel my toes

It's more the transport rather than the clothes. We have the red warning so in no uncertain words the highway agency and the police have told everyone to stay home , I am guessing unless you work at a hospital a fire or police station. Or drive a snow plough ps big shout out to those guys doing 18 hour shifts up here. |

Yes, no snow of any note here yet but expected from tomorrow midday. Our big boss has pretty much said everyone can work at home tomorrow and Friday, I'm planning on going in until lunch but will leave early if the weather gets too bad.

I got in as it wasn’t that bad but waiting for the bus home was a bit nippy, thankfully someone took pity on me and gave me a lift home which I was quite thankful for as I had half an hour wait for my connection, I might have died between them, it felt like day after tomorrow!!
*disclamier I am by no means mocking anyone that has actually lost their lives due to the snow.

Yes I went in to work it's minus 6 here
- and I walked to work and didn't die from it.
I cycled home about an hour ago
It was fucking freezing and my fingers were hurting but I didn't die from it.
I think people need to man up about a few flakes of snow FFS!
Other countries seem to manage and don't go on and on and ON about it!
It's just an excuse to stay home.

Well it's even worse up here today, I got my truck out but loads of main roads shut, no bus or train services and the main shopping centre has closed its doors. On the upside, my huskys are loving it, |
