So pretty unwell at work today so much so I ended up in a&e. There for a few hours suspected meningitis of the viral kind but because I had my daughter with me they said someone had to collect her..... All my relatives are min 100 miles away. Mum died just recently and no one I could ask to watch my daughter so I've had to head home and if it gets worse i have to go back in.......
Sometimes reality really does suck! Oh and to boot my step dad just died. Feeling rather sorry for myself |

Big hugs to you x
I completely understand how you feel.
Yes it does suck to be alone - but you have your child.
You'll stay strong for her.
Hope you feel better soon x |

Blimey you’ve been through it recently hope you’re health improves soon.
Without knowing you it’s hard to suggest anything practical, however I have found in the past (some) school friends parents can really step up at times and help out when needed, might be worth a shout |

That's a lot of stuff going on for you. No wonder you're feeling as you are. Hopefully not meningitis and things feeling a bit better in the morning. Big hug from me too. |

Gosh sounds like you having a real rubbish time of it. Roxi's suggestion of school mum's helping is a good one, when I was poorly last year they were a godsend when I didnt have anyone else to help out.
Am so sorry to hear of your recent losses and wish you a speedy recovery. Big hugs |

Ohh that must be really miserable discovering you have no one when you need help, I dont know how old your little one is but is there a school/nursery friends parent that would help out. I guess it is something you actually need to have in place in an emergency. If you are really sick se would be placed in care until you are better
Hope you feel better soon x |

I was only talking about this kind of situation earlier. I was saying I feel I'm destined to walk this world alone, and the thing that frightens me about it is getting ill and having no help or support.
I really do hope you feel tip top asap x |

I am at work every day and only lived here just under 2 years do not know the mums. I'd feel awful asking anyone to watch my daughter anyway as not their responsibility. It was the same with my son. He's all grown up tho and fled the nest so sadly not nearby either as his studies have taken him further afield. I'll just have to suck it up being unwell and make best I can do xx |
