With Kestrels now closed, as well as Paradise Spa in Daggenham, and rumors of Eureka trying to keep the lawyers at bay, is this the beginning of the end for Swinger/Spa clubs, where you can go for some daytime fun or just hang out in your birthday suit?

I don’t even think it’s just clubs,
Sex cinemas have closed, clubs have closed, pole dancing places as well
I think a lot of councils feel that such places degenerate the local area, so they increase rates, implement planning policies that effectively rule out renewing of licences
I would say 4 sex cinemas have closed in London, probably same amount of swinging clubs is not more.
Also swinging has become more mainstream, you only have to go to a club on a Saturday and see range of ages, races and colours. When I started it was mainly middle aged couples the odd single female and a few black and white guys. So people that are In to arrange meets on here and go to clubs or to a house.
Back in 70s and 80s parties were all the rage as people didn’t have the internet to send fancy a fuck messages |
