Is there such a thing as a stupid question?
Surely if you don't know the answer it's just a question.
Unless the question is "have you seen my glasses?" when they're on your head. |

Nope was told from an early age that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask - didn't stop me from getting through a lot of stupid questions in my life but I do like the sentiment |

Well there is the school of thought that says that a question is only easy if you know the answer.
On the other hand there are some absolutely moronic people out there, isn’t there? Some questions are so dumb you can’t help but roll your eyes and tut disapprovingly!
So much so that I can’t actually think of any right now, but it’s late and I’m tired! |

I ask that question and they are on my face.
And the amount of times I've put glasses on with contacts in then wondered, outloud, why I couldn't see... |

Too many questions, to which the answer is 'just Google it you idiot'.... |

There are however SFQ's......these are questions members of the public ask members of the emergency services that are utterly pointless and would not have been asked had there been no one there to ask ! The classic example is 'is the road closed then ?' While standing next to the road closed sign and scene tape ! |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
The first time of asking (the same person) it's probably not stupid but when it's repeated then it becomes difficult to remain tolerant.
I will ask naive if I don't understand and assume that if I'm asking others would benefit from the answer too. Although, maybe not from "Why am I trying to open the front door with the car key?" and other such gems.

"" Anyone seen my camel?"
I'm liking that one atm
I can apply it to a multitude of situations
Where did you last have it?"
It was under my bed yesterday
Now its gone |

Never a stupid question, only a stupid answer.
Yes OK some will ask the same question time and time again, stick with it give the same correct answer they will get it in the end. |
