I would advocate safe, sane and consensual and whatever they choose to partake in within those bounds would have my full support. And that means being respectful and supportive of everyone’s right to partake or abstain in the sex that they choose.
If I had kids. |

Neither, teach them the complexity of the challenge of monogamy and encourage them to reflect deeply before entering into any serious commitments that require it and have a strategy.
All in all, i think monogamy is better if you can keep to it (most people don't), but it's worse when you fuck it up (pun intended). |

"I have Cats.
Cats don’t give a shit about it.
I want to be a cat in my next life - but one of my cats, pampered, spoiled little buggers!! "
But what if you saw lots of shit that you didn't like but all you could say about it was 'meow'? |

When it comes to raising kids the example you set them is what sticks. You can tell them until you're blue in the face but what they see and hear day in day out is what forms their opinions on life.
If they see their parents being tolerant of other people and open minded, supportive and loving with each other, working through tough situations together, getting on each others nerves but still sticking with it. They'll either turn against it or stick with it and hopefully have an open mind towards various ways of living life. |
