Who else does this by having some microwaved popcorn and a drink while watching a good dvd or blu ray with the lights off?

I've done the a good couple of times and doing it now watching a classic movie known as Young Frankenstein

Awesome. On the last cinema night I did, I watched The Time Machine (1960) on blu ray which was very enjoyable.

Yep we did this last night, watched the new Mummy. Quite liked it actually despite the poor reviews.

We do this a lot at Chez Mac. Currently my beloved has a thirst for cheesy horror films so we make a sofa fort, get the snacks out and giggle our way through the wealth of awesome A and shitty B movies that studios past have to offer.

The last one was Carrie. Surprisingly not a shitty movie. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

She wants to watch The Omen next but kids in films like that freak me out.

Awesome. Was it the remake of Carried you watched or the original?

Yep so it most weekends. Usually with cocktails and cheese and biscuits rather than microwave popcorn.

But lights off and home cinema system cranked up to floor rattling volume - yep - love it
