Negative people

Don’t know if it’s me only seeing a difference on Fab but have really noticed some very negative people commenting on forum posts recently especially towards the organised socials. I find it baffling why people can’t support these events end of day you have a simple choice to attend or not. Always got told if you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all. Well rant over have a nice day everyone

The Sheffield social thread was an eye opener.

Some people want everything spoon fed to them. If they don't like what someone else has gone to the trouble of arranging, they can arrange something more suitable, themselves.

North Bucks

Same with the Northampton one. Someone is clearly working hard to organise it. And if you don’t like it organise your own.

Love a good social.

. Definitely was. Attended that social last night and had a great night and my car even was four wheels at end of night as well couldn’t been happier. I know the social hater seemed intent on dragging Sheffield, York and Barnsley social down last week thankfully lots of people make there own opinions and don’t let some negative comments put them off going

Sheffield social was a good night. Spoke to the organisers and they had clearly been really hurt by the unwarranted negativity. Do these people remember others are doing it for fun and that we all have feelings?

These are events organised by volunteers, usually for no money, making significant contributions to charity and sometimes with some financial risk to the organisers.

Keep your doubts to yourself if you don't think it's for you. Let those of us who enjoy socials get on with our lives.

P.S. We walked to the social venue and judging by the number of Audis, BMWs and other flash cars about there isn't a problem there with car crime. No one approached me offering money for a bj and all the women had their clothes on all night.

Was a fantastic night. Dont let the minority put a downer on the great night it was. I say well done and get the next one setup.

If someone has genuine worries about a location I think it's only fair to mention it so people are aware. Maybe they'd get a taxi instead of leaving their car.

It sounded more like someone trying to sabotage the night. Really glad it went well.

Cannot believe what I just read in that thread! Some very delicate complaints and worries.

It's the fellow guests who attend socials that make it a good night. We had fun and lots of giggles but we always do in our circle of friends. But hosts should always mingle around on the night xx

It is a shame when people bring negativity to the party but don’t worry about them. They’ll suck the fun out of anything.

Here for a good time not a long time yada yada blah.

Im sure some people wait for a subject they can suck the fun out of.. supposed to be a 'Lounge' forum not a courtroom. Negative people i try avoid in real life-were not on the planet long enough as it is.
