A daft idea that has been dropped.
My youngests footie team has a very good set of polices about sportsmanship,team building and being a good player,and watcher.
This helps kids not hiding results. |

My son plays in the Under 8's league and even though the results are recorded they are not taken into account as league table standings.
There will be no winner of the league and no competitive positions to fit for.
The stupid thing is though the results will be used to determine which league the boys play in next year, i.e top - division one and bottom of league - division two. So, isnt that competitive??
As parents we are not allowed to publish results on facebook etc but we can say "great game today"
I know the boys are only 8 but lets face it they all want to win |
