I think I paid £1.50 for a Harvey Wallbanger. I don't remember buying drinks before I went to clubs.

No idea. It would have been a vodka and lime in about 1974.

I used to go to a nightclub in Gt. Yarmouth that sold 2 pints of Stella for 2 quid.

Obviously it never ever kicked off.

When I first knew Mr N we went to a disco in Brighton where you paid £10 to get in and the drinks were free all night. This was around 1981.

Seems to remember contemplating giving up drink when you couldn't get 2 pints of Bank's Mild for less than £1!

Probably about £1.50 for a large bottle of cider (between 4 of us) around 1986.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

My first drink was probably Brandy in my milk. I didn't pay.

I have no idea what it cost for the first drink I bought. I know I was in uniform, obviously underage and it was the pub around the corner from school.

When I first started going into pubs the men only bought the drinks. They used to get really uppity if the woman offered.

They didn't in Hackney. I was a feminist even then so I'm sure I would have offered to pay and I remember buying a couple of male teachers their drinks.

Really don't remember but it would probably have been around 1 mark as I lived in Germany at the time.

I can't remember now I was 15 and still at school. We all got half a larger and black and tried to appear grown up. Obviously I'm sure we didn't,but as we were the only ones in there giving him a bit of business he let us stay .

We left after one or two,big spenders!
