Probably one in the early stages of my career when I spent a lot of time traveling overseas on a global project. Got to see a lot of the world on company time and had no other commitments to tie me back home. Happy days! |

"Army close protection.... nice suit and a concealed weapon "
My long term partner did that privately abroad, when I first met him. I didn't get to see him in his kit though. He wears a suit sometimes now and looks sexy as fuck in it. |

i done an exhibition on world war 2, specifically pacific conflict and japanese prison camps, the job was huge and took 3 weeks to print and display, it was viewed by the curator of the imperial war museum of china and the chinese ambassador to great britain, both said the exhibition was far superior to their own back in china.

I got to be on the tasting panel in a factory for a while, that was pretty cool.
I also worked as a cam model when I was a student. Once you got over the fact there was probably some hairy old man paying to watch I was literally being paid to spank the monkey to porn. |

Never really had a job that I could boast about being the coolest, I’ve done loads of interesting ones and fun ones! Managing a golf club was up there, no experience in such a role and totally winged it! Organising events like tribute nights and seeing them sold out was a highlight!
Being a trustee of a charity and again organising events with cosplayer and seeing little kids faces light up seeing their hero’s was probably the coolest for me.
My job now is the one that brings me the most happiness, seeing my residents greet me and giving me a cuddle is my most rewarding, I have a little old lady that is living with the most awful dementia and I realised she loves me coming over to her, massive smile on my face and saying ‘bring it in’ and she has the biggest smile on her face, for a split second every day she genuinely asks me if I’m ok and not asking for tea every second. That’s my happiest job by far.

You sound like you’re totally content with what you do your totally right it’s not about the job you did or do it’s how you feel about what you do as long as you’re happy it’s the best job ever I used to do a job that made me happy because I was making a difference to peoples lives to show them they had a future and not live in a dark place for the rest of their lives |

For over a year back in the 1980's, I was the Evening & Weekend manager at the Guinness World of Records Exhibition in London's Trocadero at Piccadilly Circus.
Loved the job especially when we'd host programmes like TISWAS and Swap Shop. Plus Record Breakers. |

I loved working for an IT startup in Cape Town in the 90s. I was the shopper for the online grocery site they were trying to sell their retail engine for, fun people. Every now and then the MD would yell "Quake break" and we'd have a company game |

I ask about the suits and concealed weapon as I did CP in Bagdad for British and yank generals even went and had a bbq at David Petraeus house. We wasn't in suits and never had concealed weapons.

I use to work in a team going to look at prospective new places to open up manufacturing plants. We would go to some really crazy and dangerous places, all over the world (wherever there was a chance of cheap labour) to the point I even had personal ransom insurance and my own Kevlar vest |

My best job was labouring on a caravan park in my youth.
Used to be tanned from head to toe.
Tea break, I'd get off the mower and swim a length in the pool.
For the last six years I've designed subsea Christmas trees |

Worked at a police riot training center, building various structures for the police to practice on.
Making targets for the rubber bullets to be fired at.
Got to watch and even participate ( in a very minor capacity shouting at horses)
But got to witness the many aspects of police riot training.
Best bit was witnessing cocky trainees turn up giving it all the big one, only to get beasted by the instructor's.
Class. |
