Because many guys that say that do meet with men for sex sometimes. Guys will send messages to anyone on the off chance, even if you have stated on your profile you are straight or specifically don't want to chat to men.
If it really bothers you, the best thing to do woukd be to change your message filters on here, that way only people you chose can contact you; for example just couples or just women etc  |
