Looovvveee board games and card games. I've never grown up really 
Played a few games of cards with the kids this morning, it appears that I'm a bad loser

I used to love HeroQuest, Space Crusade and Battle Masters as a kid. Sadly they got handed down to siblings, and lost to time. I keep an eye out on eBay for Hero Quest from time to time. A full set in good nick is anything but cheap nowadays.
The only board game I have at the moment is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shadows of the Past.
It's a cracking dungeon crawling style game, set in the TMNT universe. |

I spent ages teaching C how to play chess and she beat me first game.
That went straight in the bin.
Enjoy the occasional game of dominoes but that can get silly with best of 5,6,7 etc
Neither likes loosing so it's either silly grins or petulance. |

Love them!
Machi koro, pandemic, ticket to ride are all great games.
Would love to give a full dungeon/role playing board game a try but guessing it takes a really really long time to play. |

For a "game" it's an all day session. The campaign we are in has been going on for three years.

Love d&d but since moving to Yorkshire got no buddy's anymore to play with, heard some great things about exploding kittens.

Do a Google for vapnartak in York and look at the club's associated with it. I do have friends in Ripon that run a D&d group
