I suppose it depends on what the item is and how it was bought. If by cash then whoever has the receipt should be ok, but by card might be a bit trickier. Check on your local trading standards website. X |

Local trading standards and the consumer rights act don't mention this. First place I looked. Bought by card over the Internet. We have the receipt. |
