Today's most important debate has yet to be had.

Has it got to be Wine Gums, Midget Gems, or Fruit Pastilles for your sweet, chewy, moments of joy?

This has been a Mr N production, answering the tough questions since 2017.

"Out of those three it has to be midget gems but prefer haribo starmix "

I was deliberately avoiding mentioning Haribo, owing to my own ever so slight leaning towards them. Leaving other sweets out just ain't cricket.

"Wine Gums, from the fridge. Yum!"

Are you sure you're not just thinking wine from the fridge?

Midget gems, but not the cheap supermarket imitations.

I find wine gums and haribo oddly greasy.

"Wine gums and haribo golden bears!"

Golden Bears. They are the bomb!

BUT, what's with only getting tiny packets that have approximately 10 in them

None of them taste like they used to. The gems are harder and tasteless. The pastilles aren’t as juciy and I’ve lost interest in the rest.

Now what’s going on with the mars bar I say have you seen the size of it.

Like all chocolate, we're paying the same and getting less. It's the cocoa mafia.

I’m not really a sweet lover really - definitely chocolate for me!

At the moment I have a liking for the lindt, milk chocolate balls!

No idea why - but I’m often drawn to balls!

There and to the left a bit

Wine Gums just aren't the same as they used to be - too soft these days - the closest thing to how they used to be is actually Sports Mix
