I ran a thread over the past 2 weeks in which people taking part were asked to private message only.... No public smoke-blowing, territory marking, etc....
Most were happy to take part and keep communication private ..
One or two still couldn't resist popping on to piss on a particular lamppost even though they weren't taking part themselves...
But most notable was the absence of many people who will usually be all over similar (but public) threads like a rash... One might even draw the conclusion that unless they know they'll have someone publicly tell them how marvellous they are... There's simply no point in taking part... Just an observation!
