Women's snowboarding has come on leaps and bounds since I last watched it.. mega impressed.
Men's slopestyle was pretty awesome during the weekend as well.
Anyone else enjoying the Winter Olympics? South Koreans are doing a great job. |

Which event do you like best? I'm a snowboarder, so I like the slopestyle, halfpipe and BoarderX.. i reckon id be good at BoarderX, provided I could push the other riders over roadrash style

Haha I've done some snowboarding myself so that tops my list , i love watching the halfpipe (I also enjoy watching pro skateboarding so I guess there's a cross over) |

Me too.. I'm much more a fan of the Xgames than the Olympic games.. takes bigger cojones in my opinion. Also more artistic. |

I like all of them, I go skiing most years and also do motocross. I think the ski cross and snowboard cross r great to watch but the half pipe is amazing to watch! The ladies have realty upped there game in the last few years.

Not sure what happened my last post! But I go skiing most years, and do a lot of motocross. I love the ski cross, but the half pipe is amazing to watch. The girls final last night was great to see them really step it up. |

I just watched the repeat of that.. nice clean run. It's not snowboarding related at all.. but my favourite athlete of all time is a female surfer called Bethany Hamilton.. She has one arm, the other was taken by a Tiger shark! They made a film about her.
Anyone who knows anything about surfing, knows how hard it is to get through the white water and duckdive under the crashing waves. Let alone paddle and balance on a break like Pipeline.
Let alone getting back in the water after having your arm ripped off by a shark.
She's my hero. |

The Partridge school of commentary continues with the women's snowboarding final. Your commentators are Ed Leigh, Tim Warwood & Jenny Jones apparently, although I don't know which bloke is which...
c1 - .... that frontside air, its beautiful but then she just winds the windows down there, looks like shes taking them down on a Messerschmidt bubble car ....
c2 & c3 - suppressed sniggers
c1 - .... that's a really quick windowwind, I imagine the handles would be really small
c2 - One of the dads at my daughter's primary school has one of those...

Ouch I went for the first time in January & loved it but my arse was sore for a few days

Watched the half pipe trick event,no idea what full name is though.
Did like the racing,bit like BMX with the start gate and racing against others not just the clock |
