Bit late, but just started watching Kiri, filmed in Bristol,
First thought is how far does she walk her dog!! Starts in Eastville, down to Cumberland basin then up Gloucester road, granted that won't mean much to those who don't know Bristol but that's a long and somewhat bizarre route. And the accents are a bit off too.
So what's been filmed in your home town/city and do you take similar issues as myself?

Loads of stuff has been filmed in Nottingham.
Alan Sillitoe was from Nottingham and set his most famous work, Saturday night and Sunday morning in the city. Shane Meadows is also a Nottingham boy and films is most of his stuff here.
According to a google search some scenes from harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1 were filmed here (news to me!)
Some years ago there was a time team special filmed in the city. Three pubs all claim to be the oldest in England and they were investigating this.
Wollaton Hall was used as Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight rises.
One of the best films shot in Nottingham is Oranges and Sunshine. It is the story of the child migrants who were sent to Australia and the social worker who uncovered it. Some scenes were filmed on the street I used to live and I spotted my house  |

Peaky blinders is filmed in Liverpool, the beach scenes are on Formby beach and pollys house is in port sunlight.
There are tons of Hollywood films filmed in Liverpool now. We had Brookside, bread, Grange Hill, letter to bresnev, too many to mention. |

Used to live near Hever castle and penshurst place, I know they have been used a lot for filming.
The crown recently filmed in Harlow town centre.
