Accents - Is it just me?

Today I fell ridiculously in lust with a guy with a soft Geordie accent. The rest of him was rather lovely too, but his voice was so hot.
Does anyone else go weak at the knees at a particular accent?
Are there any very bored Geordies out there that want to read me a bedtime story every night? |

"Was seeing a Welsh girl who could have been reading the telephone directory out loud and I'd be mesmerised. Beautiful voice and accent."
Mesmerised is a good way to describe my reaction. I made the poor guy say 'book' at least a dozen times |

There’s a guy I speak to on the phone at work and he’s Irish. He’s a bit of a pain but I forgive him because his voice makes me melt.
I have a Scottish ex and a Welsh ex both with lovely voices. I’ve got a thing for a Celtic man |

I don't care so much about the accent but a nice deep voice...
worked with someone I didn't like but could listen to for hours... if only I would have been able to just listen to his voice not what scrap he was saying |

I love an accent. I also know a sexy Geordie, love an Irish or Scottish accent and am rather partial to the fun Northern Monkey too.
Actually no, I really just like voices per se. Listening to someone speak to me focuses me. And the melody of their voice when I fancy them is intoxicating, exciting, reassuring and safe as well as spine tinglingly sexy.
Adore having someone speak in French to me as well. |

I go wobbly at the knees for women with crisp polished and well educated English accents. Key examples: Sarah Kennedy when she was a Radio2 presenter. Lillian from the Archers, Sandy Toxvig (Radio 4). I also love Marella Fostrups soft sultry accent and tone. |

Best not mention I can manipulate my accent depending where I am.
Lived in Scotland for a while. Got friends in Wales and Norn Iron.
Worked in a call center and used to put accents on down the phone to customers |

I'm Scottish but always get asked to say "Murder" - love the Essex accent and all other accents of ladies - Irish, Welsh etc. Available to talk Scottish to anyone but usually they don't understand me (lol). |

I'm with you on the soft Geordie accent. A harsh Geordie accent isn't as nice and can be practically impossible to decipher haha!
I'm also quite partial to the Welsh and Irish accents. |

I’m from the North East (I won’t say I’m Geordie because Geordie is very different to County Durham) and constantly get asked to say ‘why aiye man’ or ‘spuggy’ etc... not all North East accents can be classed as Geordie - and Northumberland accents are way more broad than Tyneside we all still sound propa lush though like |

"Same as Ireland. People say Irish accent but mines ( Belfast) is different than other parts of northern Ireland nevermind the republic. Nit even close "
There’s a YouTube clip demonstrating the huge differences of all the Irish regions. Northern Irish is sooooo different, but I think it’s my fave of the Irish accents |

Tha can't beat a gud Lancashire accent. Meks our women sound reet lovely it does.. ohhhhhh does thee want a pie wit pint luv.
Joking aside for the Mr it's got to be a soft Irish accent on a lady. Where as the Mrs recently found a soft spot for a South African twang. |

I'm based in Edinburgh with a deep Ulster telephone voice - I have to speak to people all over the UK and regularly have to repeat myself to ladies "sorry I was listening to you but didn't hear a thing". I've had ridiculous offers over the phone and at times I have to visit which made my hotel stays always interesting. My Essex work colleague would wave his arms in a 'trowelling' motion - I did lay it on thick to certain ladies |
