Those averse to cake threads : leave now!!
For the rest of us, what’s your cake of choice?
For me, it’s a toss up between a deep filled banofee pie, with a liberal topping of whipped cream, or the white chocolate and cranberry flapjack that I once bought in a little cake shop on my holibobs. That was absolute heaven!
C’mon Fabbers, put your diets to one side for a few minutes, what cake are you having!? |

Mine is either the ultimate chocolate cake and its many variations or caramel glazed sticky ginger cake, both made by me although my mums courgette cake with creamcheese frosting was pretty bloody good too! |

Oooooh sooooo many choices!...
But I do like my vegan nuttella cake. Or my simple but tasty butter icing sponge. Basically I like freshly baked cake! Nom! |

"Well that's done it... I'm going to be baking when I get home now! Thanks OP
Ooh what are you making? Can you save a slice? "
Probably just a victoria/butter icing sponge sandwich methinks. Quick and simple but oh so tasty! |

Carrot cake.
At work we have someone a bit experimental and recently did a chocolate & beetroot cake (very nice) and most recently a cake with courgettes in - again, very nice but i think the choc one had the edge. |

Oh how can I choose. It has to be fluffy, but stodgy and moist but a bit crumby. Almost to tall to hold a slice in your hand. And some sort of cream to make a mess with. |

"Banoffee pie, or good 'ole Victoria sponge. "
I’ve already been told off for suggesting banofee pie as it’s a pie not a cake! But I think we’re allowed it, don’t you? You can share mine .. |
