Is it just me or are these forum threads getting more like a reason to openly abuse or insult other people ? I have read several threads this morning and there seems to be a lot of petty insults flying around. |

I don’t re call me insulting anyone I have been insulted but I just laugh it off as nobody here really knows me so can’t really judge me I have noticed someone is always quick on a forum to put others down! So yes have noticed a change in threads it use to be really fun on them, not so much now  |

So why don't we all join together and make them better?
If more people actively look to improve things surely we can drown out the trolls and negativity?
People looking to cause upset do so because others react. Lets not? |

there are those on here who like to go out there way to put others down, either directly or indirectly, it’ll never change unfortunately, i’ve been around for over 10 years and i’d say the last 4 or 5 have seen the forums go pretty much south. they’re not as fun as they used to be, people have ran out of things to say so they just have personal digs at other members to relieve the boredom |

I've been here in and off for about 4 years and this same thing has been said by people ever since I first joined. I think it's just perception, not that it makes it any less of an issue, but maybe it's not actually as bad as it seems. |

I'd prefer a forum free of control myself, that way I would get banned. I have to moderate myself now and simply walk away or not engage sometimes.. when I'm ITCHING to let loose the Gunswinger.. Have to keep him in his cage though. I've been given a Redemption of sorts and I'm very grateful for it, respect the Admins a great deal for it and have promised to be good from now on. I don't want to break that trust. |

They've always contained threads of this ilk, OP. There's just occasions where it is much more prevalent.
Sometimes the forum can be in an vastly more friendly and welcoming phase for a while (and invariably you will find some folk grumble about how it's become too sickly sweet). So no, I wouldn't say it's worse. Just on a dip. |
