DNA analysis of the first modern humans in England showed a dark to black skinned curly haired guy with blue eyes. They arrived after the last ice age, about 10,000 years ago and have remained to spawn generations remaining to this day. Skin mutations developed that allowed vitamin D production, reducing some of the natural black skin tone.
Will be covered in a Channel 4 show. Really interesting. |
