Mine is like the slaughtered lamb from American Werewolf in Londo, approx 1 mile from the house.

One of those places where you wonder what is actually in the pies...getting my drift.

needless to say I donot frequent it often.

What yours like and how close is your local?

i av a really good local, great pub grub, brill beer garden, live bands on sat/sun nite, n the prices r no 2 bad...

our local is the duke 300 year old pub with tunnels going form pub to the church great little pub..good friends there toooooooo......

Ours used to be great with bands everyweek,then someone else took it over an dstopped everything and just concentrated on 3 for2 shit meals

Well people voted with their feet and now the bands are back,quiz night is back,they even have psychic nights

the other week they had bungee jumping in the car park

my local has a hotel status, although they never rent rooms, which means last one standing puts the lights out.. great place!

There's a pub at the top of our road but it sells Stella (aka Old Wife Beater) of Fosters (aka Crap Aussie Lager That Even Aussies Don't Drink)... so I only go there for big football matches, which means, living in Newcastle, isn't going to be very often anymore hehehe

Oops - almost forgot......

Premiership Season is BAAAAAAACK!!!!
