What’s everyone eating?

After drinking four bottles of wine (between two) on Friday, going to a gig last night with wine (a glass was about all I could manage) I’m actually feeling much more human so I got off my arse and decided a roast would be just the ticket.

Beef with roasties and mustard and maple syrup glazed parsnips, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy!

You?

After celebrating my birthday a little too hard last night, it’s left over pizza from the night before for me.. if I can manage it.

Sometimes U.K

Veggie stew made yesterday, full of chunky vegetables and lentils. Tastes best after 24hours gentle cooking and enjoyed with a glass of chilled rose.

Roast chicken. Once cooked I cut the breast off with the skin intact. Remove the legs and wings.

It's well worth the effort and when Christmas comes you have mastered it so you can present the turkey at the table.

Already have stock in the freezer.

I hear you... I’ve not eaten properly since Friday... I’m ravenous now but the hungover me yesterday struggled through some noodles.

I had a lentil tabbouleh with tomatoes, lemon, and mint. It's part of my lentil diet (that I've been on since Christmas). It was delicious.

Bastards!

I just want a roast... a really lovely hangover curing roast that someone else cooks and washes up without speaking to me.

Oh and they can massage me beforehand and wash my hair and make me cum - the give me the roast and go

Traffic land

I’m just about to dish up, late dinner tonight.

Roast beef, roast pots, parsnips and beetroot, cabbage, broccoli, carrots and gravy. My home made yorkies, I’ll squirrel a couple away for a snack later

I will do as I always do, lose my enthusiasm once it’s in the plate

That’s it, I struggle until about 9pm and then I could eat everything and anything. Besides noodles, they’re the food of the devil. I don’t know how you stomached them!

I was more concerned about trying to finish the glass of wine.

Now I appear to have used everything in my kitchen and no-one but me to do the washing up!

It was delicious though... I’m becoming a master at roasties!

"Beef with roasties and mustard and maple syrup glazed parsnips, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy!"

That sounds mightily good.

I'm having macaroni cheese with a sauce that incorporates carefully sauteed onion, Bird's eye chilies, pancetta, mature cheddar and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheeses.

Enough for several meals, so it will be freezer time later, when it has cooled down.
