So, the house next door to me used to be owned by a very sweet old couple, who sadly had to sell their house to move into assisted accommodation.
The new neighbours have just moved in, although I’ve still yet to see/meet them. All I know is that they’re a nice young couple, from a lady down the road that’s said hello to them.

I was thinking the same! I remember when I went away for university and I lived in the dorms.
