Some men need to man up
Jump to: Newest in thread
All these why don't I get a reply threads are getting us a bad name.
I think a lot today is to do with some younger men being princesses who grow up watching porn and think all women are up for it with anyone.
In my youth we didn't have accessible porn (Kay's catalogue lingerie section was about it)
So he learned by our mistakes how to try to chat up women face to face in pubs, clubs etc
You tried a line and if she said no thanks or feck off you went back to your mates who laughed at you but you didn't get abusive.
Face to face Social skills are dwindling from some of today's youth(not all) |

Some of the most petty replies i've received from a decline to meet have been from older men. The younger men are far more laid back, although yes they do mostly want to meet now, and i think that is probably due to an increase in hook up sites that are readily available.
That's just my experience and opinion, i'm not saying it applies to all men. I'm sure other ladies experiences will be different.

I can’t be held accountable for the actions of others, so what they do doesn’t tar me, and I don’t want to meet anyone that stereotypes me based on the actions of others I have absolutely no control over.
Happily, I do enough things perfectly badly myself to give myself a bad name! |

They deleted it!?
It was honestly the best written forum entry on the subject i’ve ever read (with the bar-fab comparison).
You should ask admin why that may been? |

There and to the left a bit |
In all honesty I don't think it's defined by age - I'm constantly surprised by the age of some of the single guys on here's attitudes - often read a post expecting it to be from someone in their 20s but when I check it's a guy in his 40s!!
Case in point this morning's "It's rude not to reply to messages" moan thread was posted by a 66 year old.
I don't however agree that other guys give anyone a bad name - as I said on the aforementioned thread there are plenty of guys on here who do well, are sought after etc and those are the ones who go about their Fab business with realistic expectations, without fuss and showing consideration and respect for all users
The only ones giving anyone a bad name are those that get it for themselves through acting totally the opposite to those I've mentioned above |
