24/7 for the last 19 years!! Most of it I'm just on call but I need to be ready for every eventuality. But then I am a mother and our work is never done. |

Hubby once worked a 28 hour shift in a 24 hour period..........
In his job overtime is paid at a set amount of hours for the duty being worked, regardless of how long it takes to actually do the job. In reality he worked an 18 hour shift but got paid for 28 hours |
