If you were out at a pub/ club and saw a woman on her own, what would you think?

Would you talk to her or run away?

I'd do the old glance and see if we lock eyes, then smile, if the smile is reciprocated then I may approach to strike up a conversation

Ooh, It’s a tight rope these days days innit?

Some people could get mightily offended at the approach (be it deemed harassment or whatever) whereas others might welcome some civil conversation.
