I need a fluffy thread to relax a bit.

I'm not a big fan of winter, but there are some aspects I like.

Sitting here in front of my real coal fire is one.

Yours?

It's nice to go out on the bike on a crisp morning, when it's cold but sunny and not icy. Makes you feel alive.

Such a lovely feeling snuggled up in front of it.

Frosty mornings where the air is cold and fresh and it feels fantastic on the lungs!

Spiders webs in the country fields white with frost!

Christmas woohoo

Curling up all snug on the settee with a hot chocolate and the fire burning

Ladies looking amazingly cute in bobble hats and mittens ...

Oh loadsa stuff!!

I love winter. Crisp and clear blue skies to compliment the frosty ground.

Pristine snowscapes.

Amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Gorgeous sunsets

Starlings murmurations just before dusk.

Sitting in a nice warm bed with the loved one, looking out at the snow, knowing neither of you have to go to work that day.

Warm fluffy jumpers

Crispy frosty grass

Seeing your breath in the cold air

Having a hot bath

The list goes on. I’m a bit of a fan of winter personally.

I like the winter night time stuff; the cuddles, cosy beds, good food and stodgy puddings, looking at snow through the window. I hate however; the bad weather, going outside and it being dark on my way both to and from work as it makes the day feel so much longer, being cold, melting when I go somewhere they have the heating on, getting massively dehydrated and chapped lips from said heating, Christmas hype and getting wet feet. I hate summer too though so can't win

Not yet, it won't.

We still have February to lure us into a false sense of hope with it's snowdrops and croci, when, in reality, spring will come at the middle - end of March....
