"What symbolise the very best of British
Be it a Spitfire Aeroplane
Richard Burton
Cricket
Or The Royal Family
What says it for you
"
Shit.... That's a hard one, no pun intended!
Nothing really... ![](/icons/s/confused.gif) |

Geoffrey boycott slagging off a South African born cricketer playing for England, is this the best England has? Well clearly not |

Queuing. We do queueing rather well.
Apologising to them when someone bumps into you.
Insisting that someone goes before you and saying it is no problem when the bastard takes the last chocolate biscuit.
Saying everything is fine mid meal when it really isn't ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

"community, tolerance , History "
Tolerance. A country where I can feel comfortable living life as a pretty obvious tranny I thank my lucky stars for this every day. And hear 12 different languages just walking to work in the morning, it's great.
That and the weather. The architecture. And parks and gardens seem quintessentially British to me. |

Being a ww2 plane geek I'd say the DeHavilland Mosquito and Spitfire.
Along with, roast dinner, full English breakfast, proper pubs with real ale and Big Ben.
Don't forget the stiff upper lip and our love of queing etiquette. |

Being proud to be British but not brag and shout about it like Americans.
James Bond- being understated but cool as f***
We have a lot to be proud of with this country we punch well above our weight ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

"Castles - wonderful things - went to Skipton Castle today - beautiful and a great way to unwind walking around a castle "
Can't disagree with that I love history and visiting old ruins and the such like and wondering who was there and what they were doing before me |
