Hi I’ve been on here a while now an not had any meets. I’m now looking to get to know people an start meeting up for some fun nights local to myself. but finding difficult being a single guy I’m very friendly an consider myself as ok looking but I suppose that option is for you lol but still very close to give up any sensible tips would be appreciated X |

No great pearls of wisdom from me other than to say that if there’s any local organised socials see if you can get there and build a bit of a network.
I’ve never been to one myself so don’t know how welcoming or cliquey they are but it does seem to be the way most people suggest to get to know fellow local Fabbers and start to integrate! Good luck my friend! |

I've found that if you don't look or expect it, it will come. I've only been on here 2 weeks. The first week or so I didn't have a clue what I was doing. Mostly asking about bettering my profile. (Better pics on way!) Anyway. I was disheartened when no one was contacting me.
Then great advice was, just be yourself. No expectations and have fun. I've been in contacted with a beautiful lady who's part of a couple on here (you know who you are) and we've been chatting and get on really well. Would have met up but there's 180 miles between us.
I dont go on searches now. Waste of time. I'm no expert, but the day I started not looking for it I got my first decent contact.

Yes positive and friendly and sometime a bit of banter is fun. Even if some people Dont get it and get offended and you have to publicly apologize to everyone lol |

I would agree with what has been said already . Join in the forums, daft threads, serious threads, fab pics whatever. It gets more people looking at your profile.
See if there are any socials in your area to go to.
Take the pressure off wanting to have a meet and aim to chat and get to know people initially. Be friendly and fun and people will be more interested in you . |
