"Especially when it comes to drilling holes in porcelain tiles. "

Wish you'd done the tiling in my wetroom.. Had to recall the company twice as started falling off.

Apparently mosaics are 'tricky'

If they fell off I suspect they used the wrong adhesive.

Mosaics aren’t especially tricky. You just need to make sure they’re lined up and tamp them in. I use a grout float to get them flat.

The third tiler got it right... It was only 1 strip, floor to ceiling!

"Your work problems sorted after your last employer then Rachael ? "

I sorted it very swiftly, ta. Well remembered.

I just called a competitor of the firm I was sub contracting to and offered my services.

My rep is enough to mean I could just switch over. I was allocated work straight away. Just had a lull while the delivery system did its thing.

I’d say defo they used the wrong adhesive then.

Was there a big difference between thickness of tile to mosaic? That can prove a bit tricky.

Me too. It didn’t feel good it going wrong just for being myself.

My new firm are brill.

The store staff all knew me anyhow and were pleased I was going to be their new fitter. Two staff members are openly gay and one of those had already found me on here!

If he’s reading this; hiya

Oh and thanks for the wolf whistle when I was in shorts

If I remember rightly, he 'supported' you coming out at work, then your offers of contracts 'dried up'. It was the way he did it that was more hurtful.

It was a she and yes. That’s pretty much it. She started trying to claim my installation quality had suddenly dropped too and was piling pressure on trying to make life difficult.

She was shocked when I just changed firms.
