I don’t see why fat people, like myself take such offence towards being called fat

They are only derogatory when used in that way which the OP never has. Do you have a go at Dr's who use the words fat or skinny? Because I can assure you they do. They are descriptive words, factual words and unless combined with words such as cow, bitch, slob etc are not offensive unless you choose to be offended by them. |

It would appear that what ever way you phase your liking for certain types of sizes for a lady someone is going to get upset in one shape or format.
We all have or presences op. I hope you find what your looking for.
Maybe next thread you could state a dress size and really clarify exactly what shape your interested in then hopefully others will not react so badly. |

I myself is a short fat size 14 on a good day rubineques shaped lady.

The word ‘fat’ has come to have negative connotations and used as an insult, but it’s a factual description... IMO, the more it’s used as such, the more it diminishes the negativity attached to it!
Why should I say I’m proud to be a plus size girl but not like being called a fat girl. I’m happy to own that label, because it’s who I am!!

I didn’t say the OP had. I don’t ‘have a go’ at anyone. It’s not my style. Other terminology can and, in my opinion (stressed and underlined), should be used. Weight is quite often a psychological issue so calling someone fat or skinny will only cause further issues ..... in my opinion. |

Yea it is by an admirer but because he calls us fat he gets sticks for it when there’s no need
Rather than just see his green arrow shows lots of threads on the sunbject actually read them or just read this one in its entirety and you’ll see the OP likes big women as hard as that is for someone like you to bloody believe |

Yes... He starts threads about fat/big women all the time. The reason he can't use the word fat allegedly is because some find it offensive and they turn into arguments about that and not the fact he likes big women.
I never take anything you say as a personal attack and I never said I did either. |

I think you'll find the thread he was referring to got closed because people like yourself turned it into a name calling thread.
The op not once said anything negative. This one may be closed also if it continues down the route you were taking it.
That wouldn't be the ops fault as he's done nothing wrong.
Don't get me wrong: we are not always going to agree. Aren't we evolved enough to state our preferences without being insulting or accepting we're not going to float everyone's boat without getting defensive? |
