Hard life for over 45!

Jump to: Newest in thread

By *aked Angel OP   Man  over a year ago

Hampshire / Surrey / Berkshire

45 is the age limit for many ladies, and when turned 46 almost the half of Fab became forbidden to contact.

What's wrong after this age ladies? Can just 1 year change things so dramatically?

And what is the point in setting age limit to 99 and then reply "sorry you are too old" or even "too young" if the lady is over 55?

Hard life isn't it?

Thing is the line needs to be set somewhere.

If it’s set at 46, when you get to 47 the same question applies, what difference would one more year make?

Same question at 48. Then 49. Then 50 ... and so on. Until you do hit 99!

Where would you draw the line?

There is a lot of truth in it. And when you see this same topic appear weekly you do feel for those over that common break out point.

It'll be my last year here but I've mad a lot of friends on here and many no longer on it whom I keep in touch with so will make it easier I guess. Not relying on fab for regular meets does help too.

You need to do several things:

1. Adjust the parameters of your search to match with people interested in your age group

2. Go to chat rooms and be seen (people make exceptions to rules and may contact you even though you can't message them initially)

3. Go to Forums and do as 2.

I haven't faked my age and I'm just over the 55 cut off for many people ... I prefer to be honest and just live with it!

Better to know you're not what is wanted, otherwise people would moan that they waste efforts messaging people when it was avoidable.

Some ages and genders are more in demand. Target your efforts instead of asking why they don't want you. It's futile.

Well I’m over 45. I may be wrong but I’ve found men more likely to lie about their age than women on here. Many men who say they’re 48 are more like 55, either that or they’ve had a hard life. That may be why people have lower age limits.

Another local Fabster I was seeing at the time, called me for a chat, and I mentioned I'd had a social with this lady. Really, she said, how did you get on? I haven't seen her since her 50th birthday party! Was that last year, I asked? Don't be daft she replied, it must be 15 years ago now! Why, how old did she say she was? Cue fits of laughter........

I have actually tried and tried to find a guy older than me that I'm attracted to but it's not happened. Maybe I have been unlucky as most of the messages I have received from older gentleman have been great but their pictures do not reflect their age or look 10 years out of date.

Not long hit the ripe old age of 56. Not quite ready for a zimmer frame yet and I still have my own hair and teeth.

Never seen the need to lie about my age, it's only a number after all.

I don't let people's cut off points bother me. They are there for a reason and they are entitled to use them as they see fit.

I don't particularly eant to meet people many years younger than me, I prefer people around my own age or older.

At the end of the day it's personal choice and we all have that freedom, thankfully.
