since the last update i can no longer turn the volume down or off ! the slider no longer appears on a few sites people are going crazy over this can anyone help in how i can turn the volume off "

On the O or the bar saying search the web and windows towards the bottom left hand corner then type control then select control panel from the search results. Select sound then click on speakers, select levels then you can adjust the master volume or mute it. |

right click taskbar task bar settings
notification settingsselect which icons appear in taskbar
make sure volume is on
or depending on your taskbar set up
turn system icons on or off
make sure volume is on(blue) |
