The Vikings were skilled craftspeople people and farmers and traded all over Europe so I'm guessing they were actually quite particular about their appearance as well, maybe not to our standards but certainly high for the time.
The problem is we have images of them embedded in our minds by films like The Vikings and Wintergreen in GOT. By the way, they never had horns on their helmets!

It's great and I wish I was Ragnor the time he had his two wives in the one bed what fun that would be.
I am just working through them and nearly spat my tea out when the French guy took the sexy girl to his fun room and introduced her to his whip collection.
I wonder does she really enjoy it. Or is she that loyal to her hubby? |

Long hair and beards on a guy is very much my thing. Both Princess and my other male partner fit that loose description. Not full on bedraggled though, a bit of conditioner on it wouldn't go amiss. |

I’m not sure anyone washed much all those years ago, well apart from the Romans |

Probably right but I just think the Vikings get a bad press, there's a lot more to them then just r*p* and pillaging. |

"Well ive got shaven sides and a rat tail as u put it lol along with the big bushy beard. Would that make me a half viking. Although in the tv series they have shaved sides too"
Oof! Those shaven sides aren't a deal breaker for me distance is an issue though. Shame |

Actually, all the evidence is that Vikings were quite particular about hygiene and grooming. Unkempt beards and hair were as frowned on as they are today. |
