And no..i aint on about me ass . lmao
I have a dvt...or deep vein thrombosis in my right leg and ouch...it feckin hurts.
Didnt get home from burton hospital till 2 am this morning and that was after tons of tests and ended with two injections in my tummy.
Just had the nurse come and give me two more , which will continue till thursday and ultrascan to assess swelling.Then more drugs ...re warfarin. plus the two in my tummy every bloody day,.
Im ever so fed up. |

your tummy will be as brused as hell massage oil into the lump that comes up there it will help
keep leg well up and dont worry what you look like in the support stockings you can now get them in pop socks from boots fiver for 2 prs only one colour tho

ah bless ya, look after yourself, the warfarin will probably continue for sometime, but they will get you sorted.

I thought it was my arthritus playing up....but got worse and then couldnt walk without crutches and then badly. my right leg below the knee became very swollen and hard and bloody painful. i knew it wasnt arthritus. phoned gp.gave symptoms and then off in an ambulance to burton ozzy, ...needles in tummy and warfarin to come thursday |

I had this recently (and yes ... it bloody hurts!)I had to inject myself in the tummy with Clexane twice a day for a couple of weeks.
If you're doing it yourself, make sure you pinch the skin to inject it. I just plunged mine in one day in a rush to get to work and it came up in a horrendous bruise and a lump.

I had the choice to inject myself and i said no way jose.
Im a big tit when it comes to needles at the best of times.
soooooooo a lovely nurse comes every night and does mine.

Jeesh, that must be scarey. No wonder you can't sleep. I had a suspected blood clot once when abroad. Was real scarey but luckily it turned out to be a burst cyst in the back of my knee, was awful painful tho.
