I was on that train last Wednesday. Nightmare journey due to overhead cables being damaged all journeys terminated at Preston and had a 2.5 hour bus trip to Carlisle. Got there just as the Edinburgh train was leaving so had to wait an hour for the next one. Got on that one and there was a 35 minute delay waiting for a driver.
