Yep mine’s 18 and at Uni and it only seems yesterday since he was a baby. I must admit it was very emotional for me adjusting to him not being around. Even after Being at home for a couple of weeks over Christmas I have found myself turning around expecting him to walk through the door. All that said I’m pleased to see him turning into a grounded and well rounded independent young man. |

Ours are 19 and 22, and yes it can make you feel old. If you let it!
We prefer to take the view that we now have a lot more time together just the 2 of us, and this has given us and our relationship a new lease of life, which in turn makes us feel younger. And fabber |

Ads and I have the kids only at weekends (my eldest is autistic, so is the youngest and my ex was a stay at home Dad so was better for them to stay where routine was. Sorry I know no one asked but when people find this out they look down their noses as me lol, it’s habit) so we’ve got used to not having kids during the week, it’s still odd at the weekend for my eldest not to be there though when he works, feels wrong only have two kids lol.

I’m very proud of my son, as soon as he left school last year he went and found a job on the Monday, he goes off to college and then off to work, he makes my heart melt how he has turned out, because of his diagnosis of autism we were really worried about school and him making friends but he passed all his exams with flying colours and he has the weirdest bunch of friends ever but they are the best of friends, awwww I can’t wait to surprise him tomorrow!! He doesn’t know we are coming down to see him after college! |

My eldest is 18, but left home at 17 to chase his career and life dreams.
He's my little boy, and couldn't quite accept he was old enough.
That hit home that I'm getting old.....as well as looking in a mirror first thing on a morning!
On the plus side, my son is having an amazing time and has thanked me for being the best Mum ever for supporting his dreams, that more than compensates for the feelings of getting older. |

My 2 are 24 and 22 (girl and boy). Have to say its been a real privilege to be able to see them grow up to be the considerate, well mannered, and hard working adults they've turned into. They still need their Dad sometimes though!! |

I have three children and I'm a grandmother. It wasn't until my baby got married that I felt old. Watching her try on her wedding dress was surreal. It only seemed like yesterday I was helping her into her uniform for her first day at nursery.

Mine was when my daughter started dating, Made me feel old then . It is hard as they grow up. She is going to collage this fall so it will be another hurdle and will make us feel old again. The only good thing is we have to other kids that will be home and take our mind of it |

My lads just turned 29 and my daughter coming up to 16. It's also my 50th this year but you know what I can either sit a sulk about it or enjoy it while I still can and carry on growing old disgracefully like I've always done |

"Keeping relatively quiet, just saying driving lessons ain't cheap, op."
He’s been saving hard for his lessons with his job, I’ve said I’ll get him some too. Although I’ve banned him from driving here with his brothers when he passes. He will be sensible, it’s the other two I worry about lol x |

My boys are 18 and 13, I’m 40 and I miss them being babies still, sometimes feel like I’m being abandoned but then I live the freedom I have now and I know they still need me so not abandoned at all really.

No, ours both went to Uni last September, so now we're like we were in our 20s again: shagging noisily all around the house whenever we want

17? Wait until they start driving and buying houses.
I'm 43 and have a 24 and a 22 year old.
24 year old has a good job, bought a house. 22 year old is at Uni.
Yes I feel every year of my 43.
