Just wondered if anyone able to teach a novice how to sail my own boat? Had it almost 2 years and still not been to sea. It could be fun x

Yes, but unfortunately too far away. Do a RYA course - Day skipper and then Yachtmaster. Good luck.

Chill your beans. I have been doing it over 30 years and carry radio and all the safety gear. I used to work SAR. I bet you're great fun at parties....

Yeah, good fun at parties thanks and happy to share my chill pills with you. It was wasn't a comment about your experience, just your advice to a complete novice, which probably isn't the best from someone who has been in SAR and no doubt you have responded to those who have done that. Have known it happen too often, so just suggesting a complete novice gets a bit of knowledge first.
