Damn i wish i was dinning with all of you, your dinners sound delicious.
The kids are picking dinner tonight so it's chicken nuggets, beans and those smiley face potato thingys. With angel delight for pudding. |

Kids chose spaghetti hoops on toast and we're on chicken wrapped in prosciutto with salad and jacket. Love angel delight! Might have to see if I've got any in the cupboard now!

...Love chocolate Angel Delight with broken up Cadbury's Flakes piled on top!!
Tonight, though, it's homemade chicken jalfrezi, garlic and coriander naan bread, and bought pilau rice (can't cook rice for toffee!) |

Secret of perfect rice is towash/rinse rice til water is clear...min 5 rinses.. then put in pot and add water til rice is covered to depth of first joint index finger...bring to boil simmer for 12 mins then put tight fitting lid on turn off heat and leave for 20 mins til rice has absorbed water...perfect fluffy rice every time...if you want pilau...use stock instead of water and add cloves cardamom pods bay leaves and a pinch saffron |

I had every intention of having a healthy meal tonight however on walking past my local curry house on the dog walk the delivery driver came back with a order the recipient wouldn't pay for as it was 5 minutes late so I came home with it for a fiver.(poppadoms, pickles, starter, main, rice,Bombay tattys and a naan)
No idea what I've done to deserve it but that's got to be good karma |

I hate you so much right now. I am heading to Tesco for soda farls, bacon and cheese. And it's raining. But worth it. |

"Not really feeling in the mood for dinner.. so think I'll skip it..
Who the hell skips dinner??
Sacrilege!
I bare the thought of eating alone again... so I'd rather not eat."
I frequently eat alone!
Tell you what - I’ll send my teenage kids to yours for dinner! They can swear at each other, call each other names and threaten to kill each other - as they do most days!
After a few days with them - eating dinner alone will be absolute heaven - promise! |

"We're having a herby chicken tray bake with carrots and broccoli. It's a Jamie Oliver 5 recipe. Smells lovely but I've a feeling it's going to be as dry as hell!!"
Put some chicken stock in it before cooking |
