I don't like the grammar or spelling police and as a rule, I tolerate the way others express themselves. As this thread is inviting us to express what gets on our tits, I would have to agree with most of the above.

My particular pet hate is... ellipsis!

There should only be...3

Not....4

Or.....5 or, any other amount!

For the only reason, that I am mildly dyslexic and it's an extra distraction. Anyway, if you are guilty... don't take it personally!

That's ok. Like I said, not to be taken personally. I tend to read the same sentence multiple times and jump from the middle of a page to somewhere else and find myself reading a part I've already read. My eyes are all over the place. For some reason ... these really stand out to me if they aren't right and I keep getting drawn back to them. I love reading but it's a real nightmare.

I'm not too bad with technology. I can take it slow and correct things. Spell check is great and I get time to re-organise words I've typed as anagrams. Handwriting is my worst nightmare. It's embarrassing! Specially when my children ask me to write a note to their teacher as they are on the way out of the door luckily they're old enough to write the note themselves, I just dictate and sign.
