Being inclined to the melancholic at times, I was selfishly partaking in some self berating and woe is me angst (I know, there are may people worse off, and it’s self indulgent but I was doing it anyway, apologies) and I thought I’d rub salt on my wounds of self loathing (in particular the ughhh I’m not fanciable thoughts) and look at the hot pics to aid my comparison of me against the unobtainable ideals.
Then I spotted my wonky smile on page 5.
Thank you to those that liked it, and it did make me stop wallowing and realise I was being (still being) a total pricklette.
I’m not a usual hot pic-er, so this is serendipitous!
(Yeah, this is a look at me thread but actually more directed at me - look at you, Twatfink!)

It’s a lovely pic, I’ve just fabbed it. It’s amazing the pics of ourselves that get the attention. I’ve got one now that keeps getting fabbed and yet I really don’t like it.
Sometimes I think it would be nice if we could see ourselves the way others do then perhaps we wouldn’t do the self loathing so much x  |

I don't think hot pics is really an accurate guide of things as there is so much diversity.
Be confident in our own beauty over yard stick comparisons and hot pics.

Ah fuck the hot pics. You look beautifully radiant in that avatar as I've already typed.
I know it's easier to say/type than do but comparing yourself against others is more often than not a daft, silly task. Yes, there are the stereotypical slim sorts who get up there but I think that a personal brand of attractive is the most attractive you can have. Lots of hot women don't get up there.
What I am basically typing in the longest, most poorly constructed way imaginable is -
You be you. You're as hot as fuck as it is. And to those that matter to you you're even more so. |

We all have a bias opinion of ourselves and a people giving complements is occasionally a nice thing.
You have nothing to worry about, your lovely pictures, pretty face and sexy eyes sell you visually. I'm sure you have a great personality to support the sexiness.
Personally I don't think I'm that good looking and when people tell me in handsome, like yeah whatever.
Everyone likes different things and it's difficult to please everyone. Therefore be yourself and people will appriciate you for who you are.

Fabbed it last night in part because you looked so happy and in part because you look ...i hate this word...because you look "hot".
Maybe the two are connected...
Having the perfect face for radio it's something I would never do.

I think we can all have moments like this OP and I've found that sometimes the simplest of things can help disperse those dark clouds and moments of self-doubt, often when we're least expecting it. A simple gesture, a few words or just a smile and you realise it's ok, I'm ok! It can be a real boost. Bask in the light of those moments. I guess the key is trying live in that place all the time. |

A lot of people think you’re very pretty, perhaps not in an “On the Cover of Vogue” way but more a quirky, unique and stand out from the crowd kind of way. |
