"I like what I like, don't care what words are on the tag, if I like it I like it.
I do though like Doc Martin Boots
Everyone Loves a BRAND LABEL "
For clothes I ain't bothered one bit, I have a couple of branded items but not because they're known or popular brads, but with footwear I find it more important to find a brand that are comfortable and hard wearing etc. |

Not really a label worshipper, as I seldom find anything that fits properly.
Hence I had my formal wear tailored made for me. They fit me well in colours that suit me, and I feel good and confident wearing them.
Ask for shoes, they are more for comfort than fashion. Classic courts that fit well will do nicely.
Not one for handbags, got a handful for evening use, and a couple of day time use, that's about it.

I have found that as I have gotten older my tastes have changed and have become more classic so for me:
Jeans - Boss or Armani
Shirts - Paul Smith
Suits - Paul Smith or Hugo Boss
Shoes - Cheaney
but waiting for my less than subtle D&G and Junior Gaultier stuff to be hip and cool again! |

Clothes wise I don't stick to one brand - I like well made clothes and don't like cheap fabrics.
I like old fashioned lingerie with brands like Playtex and Triumph. Shoes - I do have one pair of two pairs of designer shoes but for going out shoes I like River Island shoes.
My luxury designer item, and I only buy is handbags. I buy one a year, have to wait 2 years this time, from New York. They are always work handbags, I carry lots of stuff in them and as they are great quality there isn't a mark on them. Handles never break, they never fray or the buckles tarnish etc. I like DKNY but my current work bag is Armani. I would only ever buy them from the store and not from Ebay or Amazon as these are likely to be fake. |

if you ever get annoyed at having so many such items taking up to much room in your closet - or if they become a problem or even a bit boring for you - please feel free to dump them on my doorstep !! |

Bootcut jeans from ASDA, about £12 and the best fit I've had.
Boots from Loblan or New Rock.
T shirts or anything with a label on = Harley Davidson. R

When Kickers were a must have shoe, we went into a local shop. A lady was trying some on and the assistant said about another shoe thay had. It was almost identical and actually fitted better than the Kickers. In fact she said the Kickers cut into her toe!
The silly moo took the Kickers, because that had the "red tag"...
That was the day we determined never to buy on label, but go for comfort and value. Those who buy jeans at over £100 per pair are just buying cudos. They are made in Chinese sweat shops just like the cheaper brands. Same with trainers. Probably the same with most higher priced goods.
But keep on buying them, because if you bought what I do, the sales would go up and the prices increase! |

some of my mates, buy nothing but designer clothes.
at times they look like shit.
buying expensive clothes, doesnt show you have style.
buying clothes that suit you, shows you have style.
.
.
ps if this has made any of yous, feel like disgarding your hugo boss suits.
i know a guy who will take them off your hands. |

If a piece of clothing takes my fancy I will try it on, if it looks good then I will buy it, if I can afford it at the time....the label means nothing because the desire to have that piece of clothing far outweighs any label.....

Never got this, tho im an aging hippy so no surprise there,
i did love my joe bloggs sweat shirts, but they got lost and my first pair of levis got knicked at uni( i later found out they were worn by someone wanking about me )
Clothes should fit well and look good, suiting the situation, as an example, today i met my Master for outdoor fun.Given the time of year i chose a cotton sun dress in earth tones,it looks fab against the greens and greys of autumn. |

I don't have any designer clothes because I can't get into them. They don't make them above a size 12 do they
The shoes and pair of boots I have were drastically reduced at the time and years old now. I couldn't have afforded to have bought them at full price.
The handbags, whilst bought in store, were the bottom end of their merchandise. But I only have 3 handbags, one of those is 5 years old, but there's not a mark on it and I used it every day for work for a year. I don't know how much people buy a high street work bag for, but say £30, and that wouldn't last 6 months of use every day for work carrying folders etc. So if you balance it against my one bag which cost £300 but I've still got 5 years later and it looks as new, and the cost of say 3 £30 bags a year, its worth it.
Well that's my justification anyway

I just buy clothes I like…. and it don’t matter a flying-fuk too me whether they have a designer label attached or not….!. its about how I feel in them, and if something only cost me 50p, but makes me feel good wearing it, that’s priceless…
After-all clothes are only the wrapping….

tops wise, i buy what takes my eye - i can buy a £5 t-shirt from tesco or asda one week and the next week spend £70 / £80 on one
the biggest problem for me at the mo is 'muscle cut' and 'slim fit' - they both go in where i go out haha - so if i see either of those descriptions, they go back on the rack
anybody can look nice in clothes that are worn appropriately to their build / size |

"Mt obsession is for shoes (typical woman) just not any shoes either louboutins or cavallis. ekkk"
phew !
just had to check your profile then
thought my other half had set herself a profile up
i am still scraping my jaw off the ground after a £200 spend on a pair of dior 'sandals' (well, thats her description - i think mine went along the lines of '200 hundred quid for a pair of fkin flip flops !' |

TKMax is the only place I'll buy labels cause I have champagne tastes and lemonade pockets.
Have had some serious bargains from there over the years including a Patrick Cox handbag, Versace shoes and a Crumpler suitcase. The bag and case I'm still using because they were such fantastic quality. |

I don't buy something just because it has a certain label.
But if I'm honest I do tend to always head towards the same shops first (Debenhams, Next & Dorothy Perkins) because in general I like the fit and style of the clothes.
Handbags are an exception and I only really buy Guess ones.
