Have you just seen the 57 year old virgin? How sad! Because he didn't feel the right sex and not attracted to women but didn't feel comfortable having a sexual relationship with other men whilst being a male!
But now trying to fulfil her lifelong ambition, I don't want to come across as trite but I find that soo sad to hear but maybe making it easier for people to understand how others feel (I do apologise for any misuse of the word of him/her) |

I'm not sure bravery is the correct word to describe what these people go through. Unafraid might be a better word. They are unafraid to go through with something that they find necessary for this continuing survival and peace of mind.
If you were to ask someone in this position 'can you really afford to do this?' they might reasonably answer 'I can't afford not to'.

Many of us get told we are brave to be out living like this. I tend to say it was harder not living like this. |

The reason we say they are brave is because of all the narrow minded people in the world who have no interest and can’t appreciate what these people have to through, either emotionally or physically.
To many people are quick to judge and brand people, who really in all fairness want to be comfortable with how they feel.
