If you’re wanting to actually meet someone I don’t get why (or even how!) people do that. It’s not like you won’t get busted |

I saw a photo recently and the guy was holding his cock but his fingers were so elongated and the cock looked like it had been randomly stuck into the middle of the balls. It was so obviously photoshopped but it had been fabbed quite a few times |

What a the point. I've bern asked many times if my pics are genuine due to my age. Why shouldn't I look good? I work hard at it. And very proud of it. I do crop them but that's about it |

We're not averse to a softening filter or changing to black and white for artistic flare on a couple of our photos but anyone on our friends list will see our face pics are raw.
We certainly don't photoshop or alter our body parts.
Are we false advertising? |

That had made us very suspicious of the way some guys ear verification, another story altogether. We verified him as a nice guy and thats all we said and put it down to experience as we now do our due diligence on all likely candidates lol

I use Lightroom on mine but it's to change colours and shadows as I shoot in RAW so it's needed to get the best from the pics. The colours need a boost. Also the sky and foreground are often a few stops different and need a tweak
As for the people who change their shape, that's a no no. Especially when they are shit at it.
There is one woman who some how frequents the top fab list.
When she blows her tits up and the lines on the back ground are all over the place it's so obvious. She makes her legs look thinner and tries to soften her skin

Everything is photoshopped. Well anything a photographer would produce because they usually shoot in raw. And as soon as you start editing, even if just a crop and colour balance, it's considered as photoshop. If someone is making their body parts look bigger then fair play as that's hard to do. Much easier to change the camera angle, would we say that shooting from a flattering angle is deceiving the viewer? Still you ass and tits. End of the day we all try and look our best and it's easier for some to do that with close in crops and shadows |

Why are people choosing their most flattering pics to post?
Why are people using expensive cameras with Photoshop inside giving them lovely skin tones?
Why are women wearing makeup?
False advertising! |

I use crop, that's about it. The close up on my profile has colour enhanced used, but that's literally the only one. It's not deceiving anyone, I just wanted my hair to look redder.
I would alter body shape at all. No point. I'd hate to be labelled a catfish, so what you see is what you get. |

I play with colour balance, crop, blur out backgrounds when I take a shot at home, conceal my tattoos etc. in my public pics. That's generic PhotoShopping even if I don't ever to use it to change important things like size and shape. Hundreds of people I will never meet will probably see those pics, so I feel no obligation to let them see identifying features. It's also not like people have ever looked shocked that I'm not sepia or black and white in real life or have a head when they meet me either. My friends gallery has more candid shots and I can choose who sees those. My public gallery is just that and I treat it as such. |

Must agree re Snapchat filters, I'm too old to be attracted to someone who thinks that's a good look! I don't Photoshop but do choose marginally flattering pics, but have private "warts n all" pics to send to people before a meet so I'm giving them a clear indicator of my many extra pounds |

Unless you have a super expensive camera, then the camera on the phone is not capturing what you look like anyway, it might as well have a snapchat filter on it.
A lot of you don't seem to realise, one of photoshops main uses in the professional world is to match the photo with what the eye seen. To correct the colours, tones, balances, to remove things the eyes could not see but now you see in the photo.
People think every photoshop is some extreme manipulation, but in the professional world, its normally 99% of the time only used to correct the photo to make it look like what your eye sees.
In fact I would go so far as to say, without putting a phone taken photo through photoshop, it can never look like what the eye seen. |

Ive never had any trouble distinguishing between a camera phone picture and the real life individual, i think the problem your referring to is when people post old pictures of themselves which looking nothing like them now lol |

Photoshop is great for taking a crap picture and rescuing it; not everybody uses it to texturemap abs on themselves or shave a few inches off their waistline.
There are some people on here that use photoshop to create some really great images, it adds variety for those of us that enjoy photos...
It also gives a massive insight into the person, it shows their artistic side and what they find pleasing. |

Most of the pics are self-taken and many of us are amateurs in photography.
I think it should be OK to crop, watermark, enhance contrast/brightness, change to black&white or to erase some telling marks (tattoos etc).

That all sounds fine to me hun!
I think people are talking about those who shave several inches off their tum (wouldn’t we all like a perfect tum?), create a wrinkle free face (if you have lots to start with) etc etc - Ie giving yourself a complete face and body makeover!
That I disagree with massively - especially if you actually meet (accept not everyone on Fab does though!) |

Like many others, I've cropped my pics, added colour effects, lightened them and so on. But I've never altered my body size or shape so what you see is what you (might) get.
It's usually pretty apparent which photos have been significantly processed - and, personally speaking, I find such images lose all their individuality and attraction because of it. Those kind of 'featureless' pics, where the skin's been smoothed to remove every last line, freckle, scar, shadow, or natural crease (because you're bending!) just become sterile to me - almost doll like. I like people to look like people!
I *do* understand why we want to present ourselves in the best possible light, literally and figuratively, and there's nothing wrong with flattering angles but if you obliterate who you *really* are is the humiliation of being called out when you meet for real actually worth the risk of displaying extremely deceptive photos? |

All our pics are taken on our phones, with an occasional filter used although most often we don’t bother. Literally snap and a crop. Don’t get me wrong we may take a dozen and only upload the ones with the best angles of course. |

We use Photoshop all the time never to make things change size but to make a better photo increase the contrast, remove something from the background, basic adjustments to make the image look better it's a tool like any other things it can be used and abused |
