Log burner or two weeks in the sun
Jump to: Newest in thread
Make them both happen and live the best of both of the options and screw the limitations, they can nearly always be eliminated with imagination.
1. Have the log burner installed
2. Book a week off work
3. Stoke up the burner and pump out the ‘Mediterranean’ heat
4. Cook a paella for an authentic smell and taste
5. Cover your face and arms in sun cream also for the smell
6. Put the venga boys and other holiday music on using a ready made playlist
7. Lay the sun lounger out in the conservatory
8. Poor our own made sangria
9. Put on your shades
10. Sprinkle a small amount of sand down your bum crack wearing your swimwear
11. Pick up your kindle lay down and relax

when we had a log burner, it cost us a bloody fortune to keep it fed with logs, was cheaper to use the gas heating.
you cant just forage in the woods for logs, they need to be dried for a year or two first or be kiln dried.
is it not an option to extend your heating and put a radiator in there?? |

Fuck that’s hard!
I’ve got a burner in my place and it’s wonderful. But I also like time in the sun
£2.5k sounds expensive though, I’d look for some more quotes |

Log Burner...
Try to get some other quotes before you decide.
Oh burners can be had new for eell under £2500 depending on how big and how you intend to use It.
Reclaim yards have good quality second hand ones too.
And if it's just to hear a conservatory...o leave the doors open and let the heat spread it onk2y required a short chimney and liner.
If it's being incorporated into a full home heating system...it will cost more... but is that what you want or need?
