So we get a screw in our tyre (it’s on its last legs anyway) so that’s the first thing!
We haven’t got any milk so thought id give the coffee maker a go that we got for Christmas, usually Ads does it but since he isn’t here, so he talks me through it, I wash up, I tidy up the kitchen over the fucking coffee goes!!
I’m now in bed fearing the next ‘thing’ to happen, I wouldn’t mind but I had a nice day up til now!!!

Definitely been one of those days here.
8am watched my neighbours cat get sent flying by a car, held it in my arms as it died. Then held her as she sobbed her eyes out.
10am took van for MOT & annual service, turns out wasn't serviced last year, even though booked in. Several parts needed replacing as a result. Major argument at garage over cost of this.
Also need new windscreen after being pelted by a gritter on Sunday
New tailight & respray after being hit in a car park last week.
Testing my no smoking willpower to the max today!

Oh my word my day was no where near as bad as yours, cars are a pain in the arse, my windscreen has a crack in it last year, we knew we wouldn’t be driving it for long so we’ve left it, it’s got bigger and bigger. The catalyst converters gone on it now so we’ve felt like penny on the Big Bang theory with the engine fault light, for weeks on end, it needs three new tyres (well four now) plus other things wrong with it that Ads step dad was meant to fix for us after last mot last year but never got time to fix so we’ve given in and decided to scrap it! Although we were a bit pissed off because we were meant to be going to eurekas next Thursday but we’re still going. Going to train it instead lol.

Today hasn't started any better.
Day before Xmas my shower kept switching off, had wetroom refitted last year, so it's only 8mths old.
Plumber came out the following week, he tells me he'll just replace the shower, but with a different make as the one we have isn't very good!
OK, but I point out that'll mean he'll have to change the floor pump as they work together. He insisted the pump was compatible.
So today, I cancel at my morning clients. He arrives at 8am, removed old shower, installs new one, at 8.30 he tells me he's putting the old shower back in, as the new one can't be wired into the pump!
Aaaargh!
So today I've lost put earning several hundred pounds, which with my van repairs I really bloody needed!
I'm still not smoking though |
