Loud aggressive people

There is a lady at my work, she’s getting married about a month and a bit after us, she asks me questions most days how I’m getting on, I literally open my mouth to say something and she butts in and talks over me and doesn’t shut up!! I’m standing there like ‘you asked me the fucking question!’

You can't tell what someone is like from a profile and if they are sociopaths or psychopaths it's hard to tell in person until you get to know them better. |

You never really know what’s happening with someone. Can’t we all just give each a little break and have some compassion?
Talk to the person. And if they’re finding it hard to explain, have patience. Even the loud aggressive people are hurting. |

To my mind (and what I have always been taught) is that anger, jealousy, aggression and that kind of behaviour all boils down to someone wanting to take something away from you because they believe there isn't enough to go around.
Not enough time, not enough money, not enough love etc etc and yet there is enough. There's enough for everyone.
Often those that behave like this feel that they don't have enough (of something) and yet it's there. It's everywhere.

What complete utter nonsense.
If you think the way to go thru life is calling everyone a cunt and being loud and aggressive to get stuff done is the way forward then good luck.
Being confrontational will lead to more shouting and issues.
As for people like this being the only way to get stuff done.absolute twaddle.
You have only got to listen to a parliamentary broadcast in the house of lords to realise shouting achieves nothing other than one person trying to be louder than the other.
To get stuff done you need organised leaders who lead by example not going around shouting at everyone.
But hey if this is your way crack on,but I warn you your in for a very stressful life.
On the note of hearing issues.well that's a personal issue that I wouldn't know about other than,there is plenty of equipment out their to aid hearing.
If this is not possible then communication is the way forward,inform people rather than just shouting.
As for your last point.
Give me someone who knows their flaws and is self critical anyday over a narcissist who never thinks they are wrong and their opinion is the only opinion that matters.
As a builder I have spent my entire working life around egomaniacs and loud aggressive people let me tell you no one thinks highly of them other than themselves!
These guys were usually the school bully, most act like spoilt children everytime things don't go their way.

Quiet and calm people get it done so both sides have an equal say and understanding of the situation, they listen to and understand the situation bringing about a solution fit for all parties. Being loud and aggressive isn’t always the right way to go but being quiet and calm isn’t you have to have that balance. I’ve found that in my working life calm always prevails but if you need to be a little shouty you need that too  |
