buy a castle with plenty of land, a pack of Irish wolf hounds, a new harness of armour, a hand forged sword, a new long bow and have my own medieval festivals! (Once I've sorted the family out obviously!)

I would share it with my son and my brother, and give some to animal charities.

Buy plot of land to build my dream home on, buy house in US so easy to see daughter.

Invest the full £30,000 in premium bonds.

But would not tell you lot, but simply become the proud owner of a new swing club, and run it as a replacement for job, i.e. lottery money to set it up, and then fees to pay workers salary and upkeep.

Set up a trust fund that allocated the interest on a daily basis to making someone life in the thirdworld more tolerable,,,

i.e. providing the tiny cost attached to paying for cataract operations, covering the purchase and distribution costs of individual clean water filtration systems, providing a allocation of daily sponsorship to hostels and education programs amid at helping orphans and vulnerable kids, giving financial support helping meet the costs of recycling/refurbishment schemes that provide a service with the reallocation and distribution of redundant prosthetic limbs and mobility equipment and seeing glasses from our country to places where its unavailable to many people without the ability to pay for it, etc etc ….!.

Yip... thats what I'd do!!!

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I`d give loads to my local heritage railway. I will also have to buy myself a heritage diesel locomotive so I could have an occasional "play" on said railway. There`s also a steam locomotive or two crying out to be restored to working order so money to buy and mend those! Then there`s a fleet of 50`s and 60`s cars and lorries to buy - loads of Guys, Scammels, Fodens along with some Austin Westminsters and Austin Healy 3000`s etc. I could go on and on!

Apart from seeing my family right, I would set up a rehab unit for troubled teens, similar to the one in Liverpool, where they rehabilitated damaged horses and ponies at the same time- the theory is that they learn together and form bonds with the horses where they struggle with human relationships, and then develop from there.

I've discussed this recently with someone. We both decided that we would by an old volkswagen camper van, do it up like the scooby doo van, and go driving. Then go on a world cruise.

If it is silly money, I would build a campsite with leisure facilities such as swimming pool, ten-pin bowling, cycle track etc., and let peeps from the arm-forces to use them for free.

I would close it from time to time and use it for adult parties!

I would build my own house, to my own specifications.

I would learn to polish gemstones and make jewellery with them.

etc. etc....

If it was a big win id rather not give to charity and actually find people ourselves who are down on their luck like single mums staying in hostels etc then so you know that your money helps actually get them a house, car bank account and youd also get to sse how happy it makes them in the flesh rather than give to charity and not know what happens to your money
