Fabbed Pictures Paint a Picture

Hot pics is usually dominated by hung six packed men or size 8 to 12 women.
Why isnt it more representative of the perceived majority?
Or do the majority just have similar tastes. |

Just a reflection of the mainstream ‘likes’ in general.
To many people those body types are the most aesthetically pleasing ergo the most fabbed. Not a great surprise.
A fab is, in the main, an appreciation of a good photo. Stands to reason that that would reflect on hot pics. |

We like to see erotic photos of all types, but our preference for sexual partners isn’t based on body type, it’s more personality-based (fun and flirty). The pics we fab aren’t necessarily of people we would meet - the visual is a small part of the...err...package. |

To be honest I don't think Hot Pics does provide an accurate representation of anything other than pictures that have been fabbed a lot. Now before you reach for your keyboard to say "That's the point Gemini Man!!" - There's a few things to consider:
- Only site supporters can see beyond page 1 of Hot Pics - therefore once a poster reaches page 1 any subsequent pics they post are likely to get there as a result of the profile having been hotlisted the last time round.
- Some posters will look for fabs by posting status updates to get them, or joining Fabbing threads etc.
- Men will fab pics more than women which leads to women dominating the overall hot pics category and explains why men rarely appear in any of the pages of that category.
Either way, all of the above and more lead to Hot Pics being a somewhat skewed representation of anything.

I agree that women will get fabbed more than men, but that's mainly because men are a huge majority on here.
Nothing else you've said explains why a dad bod isn't currently sitting at number one. |

Because women get fabbed more than men is the answer to that one. You only have to look at the difference in number of Fabs required to get to page 1 of men's against page 1 of women's to see that.
Maybe I didn't make my other point that clearly though - what I was trying to say is the pics at the top of Hot Pics are skewed by the factors I pointed out - for example there are plenty of people who have great pics but don't seek fabs through status updates/Fabbing threads and the like, or people who regularly get to page 2 or 3 who aren't seen by non-site supporters and so don't get hotlisted and to page 1.
Not saying the pics that appear on page 1 are bad (although some aren't to my taste) just that they're not necessarily representative of the best that are out there either. |
